Hot Bloggin': Back To School Edition

Today is my first day back to school. No Hanna Montana back-pack or Transformers lunch box for me though. Alas those days are long gone and I'll be carrying a brief case and heavy books about multivariate statistics and postmodern epistemology. Thank God there's some hot bloggin' I can look forward to at the end of a long day of getting my doctoral education on.

Arise takes on the issue of SIN (good times)
Baha'i Education has some tangents from the recent Association of Baha'i Studies Conference
Baha'i Faith in Egypt and Iran reminds us that there's at least a few sane voices regarding how Baha'i kids are getting treated in Egypt right now
BahaiQ has questions about Baha'is serving in the military
Barnabas has info on a barber you need to know about
Doberman Pizza is thinking pretty much what I'm thinking right now
Love from Leila is reading like a zillion books
Sliding Thoughts is having a birthday today
The Covenant of Baha'u'llah takes on elucidation vs. interpretation

  1. Ah, multivariate statistics...such good memories of graduate school. Enjoy the class and remember..."There are three kinds of lies - lies, damned lies, and statistics.",_damned_lies,_and_statistics

Also, those of us confused (or used), at times, by statistics may want to read the following by Stephen J. Gould..."The Median Isn't the Message".

We missed you at ABS Phillipe.
    Take care!

  2. I love the back to school time of year but's not fair that the pressures of adulthood mandate that we no longer rock our Transformers lunch pails.

  3. Allah'u'Abha!

Good luck with your studies! I have always loved going back to school! Thanks for the encouragement!
