O Ye Loving Mothers

O ye loving mothers, know ye that in God's sight, the best of all ways to worship Him is to educate the children and train them in all the perfections of humankind; and no nobler deed than this can be imagined.

(Abdu'l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu'l-Baha, p. 138)

The united nations of Copeland and Orloff celebrated Mother's Day with both grandmas and my magnificent wife. Mr. Orloff came as well and Douglass Ali was a most gracious host for all. I was feeling quite domesticated, spending the morning doing yard work, purchasing my first post-bachelor weed wacker and grilling up yummies for the mommies. My wife's parents shared stories of their recent trip to China to visit their son's family who is living in Shanghai. We ended the afternoon with a nice walk around the neighborhood (we live the best neighborhood ever). Oh yes, we all got to enjoy watching Douglass Ali in his new swing in the backyard.
