FYI: The Process of Community Building and Race Unity

Folks who are passionate about racial unity and justice should definitely attend this weekend coming up at Greenacre Baha'i School. Here's some information about it:

The Process of Community Building
and Race Unity
Tod Ewing and Lex Musta

The Baha'i community is currently engaged in an intense and focused outreach process utilizing a set of uplifting, vitalizing and practical core activities. The goal of these diverse activities – directed towards all age groups - is to help empower children and youth and strengthen neighborhoods and communities. To help ensure success, those involved have been directed to free their "thoughts and actions of any trace of prejudice." As a way to celebrate Race Unity day, please join Tod Ewing, author of the recently published book “Seeing Heaven in the Face of Black Men", and Lex Musta in a dynamic exploration of the Baha’i Writings, the transformative and community building nature of these core activities, how they can and do contribute to racial unity and justice, and how they can be further utilized to liberate ourselves and our nation of any vestiges of racial prejudice.
