I've given up moderating comments, but have made it so that you have to type in some letters so this way hopefully a real human being will leave a comment. Spam is totally evil. There are links at the bottom of the page, but because they are black they might not be as easy to see. Hopefully your suggestions will work, if not I will blame you 100%. One would be to put an archives section in your sidebar. Another would be to add forward/back links to the top and bottom of your page. There's currently no direct way to go back and access your earlier posts, because you don't have any links that take you back to previous pages or posts. Also, it's my experience that if you want more of a dynamic interaction among your visitors, you have to relinquish a degree of control over your comments. Holding all comments for approval may help cut down on spam, but it disrupts the flow of the conversation.
